Близько дев’ятої ранку. Лишаємо всіх трьох дітей у просторому будинку, який орендували у Пилипці на кілька днів для нас і батьків. Слава бабцям-дідусям, сьогодні ми в режимі kids free. За плечима – невеликі рюкзаки з перекусом для денної мандрівки. На ногах – високі похідні черевики, що так давно не місили карпатської багнюки. Я розкладаю трекінгові палички, Андрій робить останні налаштування свого годинника-трекера. Вирушили.
Підйом на Боржаву починаємо біля водоспаду Шипіт, він лишається внизу, поки ми крокуємо буковим лісом. До нас прибився великий красивий білий пес. За кілька хвилин оцінив нас з ніг до голови і вирішив, що нам можна довіряти. Мовчки біжить попереду налаштований на прогулянку в гори. У цей момент він ще не знає, що цього дня доведеться пройти з нами більше ніж 20 кілометрів.
Ідемо неспішним темпом. Здається, я трохи втратила спортивну форму за минулий рік, відколи народився наш наймолодший. А ще я часто зупиняюся, щоби відзняти якнайбільше вдалих кадрів по дорозі. Задумала змонтувати відео-розповідь про цю довгоочікувану мандрівку. Навколо так багато краси, що я не встигаю усе роздивитися, як би повільно не пленталася позаду Андрія. Таке гарне ранкове світло. Гра тіней, форм і текстур, контраст і водночас баланс кольорів. Стовбури дерев, буре торішнє листя, гірські схили як тло для прозорого весняного лісу. Це все таке моє-моє. Те, що виглядає мені красивим і довершеним у будь-яку пору року. Цю мандрівку можна вважати святковою. Кілька днів тому мені виповнилося сорок років і подорож в гори була в числі найбажаніших подарунків. Тож і смакує вона по-особливому. Усе видається символічним, філософським і невипадковим.
Ми потрохи виходимо на хребет, вкритий вишнево-рудими чорничниками. Розлігся ніби величезний звір із густим м’яким хутром. Деякі відгалуження Боржави досі вкриті снігом, що додає краєвиду ще більшої епічності. Білі смуги підкреслюють рельєф схилів і подекуди складаються у химерні візерунки. Краса. Йдучи по стежці мимоволі пригадую як бувала на Боржаві раніше. Мабуть, найчастіше з усіх карпатських хребтів. З університетськими друзями-туристами мали щорічну традицію збиратися в боржавській колибі у перші тижні жовтня, на Покрови. Тож дивлюся на Великий Верх як на старого знайомця, який навіть не проти мого запанібратського звертання “ВВ”. Ловлю себе на думці, що все навколо відчувається як звичне і знайоме, але водночас нове, не зовсім таке як було колись. Або може це моє сприйняття з кожним проживанням цього досвіду стає іншим.
Десь так само мені відчувається моє дорослішання. Намотування витків спіралі. Мені 10, 20, 30, 40… Життя іде своїм плином, деякі речі повторюються з року в рік. Від пригоди до пригоди. Від сезону до сезону. Від зустрічі до зустрічі. Прожиті миттєвості записуються на кіноплівку в моїй голові, а потім дивним чином виринають, коли ступаю звичною стежкою, впізнаю знайомий запах чи вирізняю обриси гір, до яких приходила раніше. Реальність сьогоднішнього дня, у 2025, переплітається зі спогадами різної давності. Ягоди кам’янки смакують як у нашому з чоловіком першому поході вздовж Пішконі, а туристичний суп з термоса — як казкове зимове сходження на Парашку. Біля великого білого пса біжать інші собаки різних мастей і розмірів, які прибивалися до нас раніше. Між них є молода кицька з Орявчика, яка ледь добрела додому після неочікувано довгої прогулянки горами. Птахи, що кружляють і зависають у повітрі над Боржавою, нагадують як наша подруга літала неподалік на параплані. Хрустка поверхня снігу переносить в Доломіти, де ми ледь не позривалися на ковзкому траверсі. А вказівник-“грибок” нагадує місце в Татрах, де ми продиралися через туман щоб побачити тамтешні високогірні озера.
Здається, що цим асоціаціям і флешбекам немає кінця. Кадри, обличчя та емоції змінють одне одного, додаючи моєму сприйняттю миті “тут і зараз” різних присмаків. У свої 40 я — та сама. А проте дивлюся на світ іншими очима, ніж двадцять років тому. Минулий досвід додає вимірів моїй “доповненій реальності”. Водночас, мені радісно, що деякі речі все ще можуть мене здивувати, ніби вперше. Торкнути до глибини душі, як перші траверси Чорногорою у шістнадцять. Чи насмішити до щирого реготу, як цей білий пес, що кумедно їде з гори по льоду. А ще мені подобається намацувати між спогадів константи, які залишаються для мене незмінними. Наприклад, що б не відбувалося у житті, гори — це мій безпечний прихисток та місце сили. Я можу змінювати місця праці, житло, коло знайомств, буденну рутину, якісь хобі на щодень, але мандрівки в гори залишаються у списку “моє-моє”. Як і найрідніші люди. Андрій, діти, батьки, сестри. Маючи такі точки опори, легше пристосовуватися до всіх непередбачуваних змін, які підкидає життя.
Тим часом ми піднялися на вершину гори Стій. Безвітряна, вона теж здається тихою і замисленою. Може, пригадує часи, коли тут біліли сферичні куполи радіо-локаційної станції, від яких тепер залишилися лише круглі підмурівки і невеликі уламки композиту, розкидані між трави. Перебирає у спогадах всіх вар’ятів, які вилазили на поіржавілу драбину пам’ятного знаку чи калякали на ньому своє “тут був я”. Зараз тут тільки ми: Христя, Андрій і пес. Видираємося на драбину (всі крім пса). Робимо на пам’ять селфі (замість калякання). Їмо. Відпочиваємо.
Сьогодні гори приймають нас, як найдорожчих гостей. Сиджу під сонячним промінням в оточенні блакитних хребтів на горизонті й почуваюся по-дитячому радісно та безтурботно, справді щасливо, від пальців на ногах до маківки. Всередині тепліє від вдячності. Вдячність. Це вміння я багато практикувала останнім часом, відколи змінила метушливі робочі будні на неспішні дні вдома з малюком. Хай я і занедбала багато інших своїх навичок, зате старанно плекаю здатність бачити красиве, відчувати швидкоплинне, помічати цінне і неповторне. А тому нерідко ловлю себе на думці, як сильно мені пощастило. Це ж годиться на роль філософського висновку сорокарічної? У тридцять я відчувала себе світляком на важливій місії, а в сорок — вже не певна, що є якась особлива місія саме для мене, зате відчуваю дивний обов’язок справді цінувати те, що мені на цій планеті дається і вдається.
Далі нас чекає повернення до Пилипця. Підемо трохи іншим маршрутом, ніж піднімалися. Зайдемо на ВВ, а тоді вліво, між пагорбів, по стежці вниз, наввипередки із призахідним сонцем. Ми гуляємо вже більше восьми годин, а по відчуттях час пролетів зовсім непомітно. Чим ближче до села, тим сміливіше біжить пес: мабуть, впізнає дорогу додому. В якийсь момент він забігає далеко вперед і стає малою білою цяткою на тлі трави. Нам шкода, що він пішов не попрощавшись. А тоді бачимо, як він терпляче чекає на межі лісу. Таки попрощався. Бо цей день ніби навмисне ідеальний, такий що залишить тепло і гарні спогади на багато моїх майбутніх років.
